Reviews and Ratings
This hotel was a mixed bag for me. On the bright side, the rooms were spotless with large bathrooms and an amazing shower, but the location turned out to be a bit noisy being on a busy side street. The service, however, was top-notch with incredibly supportive and kind staff members, especially Luis. Sadly, the dining options were not great, offering limited cooked options but did have a decent selection of fruit and pastries.
Wow, this hotel is right on Gran Via, in the beautiful neighborhood of Malasaña in Madrid, making it the best spot to move around the heart of Madrid on foot or by public transportation means. The rooms are large, exceptionally comfortable with a good-sized layout and the friendly staff are always ready to assist. However, the dining experience, although good, is not outstanding considering the price charged for some items. The location is excellent in the most happening section of Gran Via. With the Iglesia de San Antonio de los Alemanes nearby, a 10-minute walk to Plaza Mayor, and just a 15-minute walk to the Royal Palace of Madrid, you can't beat this prime location.
The hotel's rooms were a bit small but everything else was just right. The spotless rooms feature large bathrooms with double sinks and an amazing shower with two shower heads and great pressure, keeping us warm even when it was very cold outside. The service was amazingly friendly and smiley, especially Antoine, taking very good care of the guests and the rooms' cleaning. The location is perfect, with the staff being extremely helpful and the property being right on Gran Via, across from Callao plaza, close to Puerta del Sol, and less than 10 minutes to Plaza Mayor. The dining experience had limited cooked options but a good selection of fruit and pastries. Overall, it was perfect for a quick trip to Madrid.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were small but had a comfortable large bed and nice views over the Gran Via. However, they smelled musty whenever the window was closed. The service was friendly and professional overall, but some staff members seemed a bit haughty and lacked attentiveness at times. The location right on Gran Via was bustling and convenient, perfect for both business and leisure travelers. The dining options were quite disappointing with limited choices for 12 Euros, but the breakfast buffet was nice and included various delicious items like juices, eggs, fruit, pastries, and even cava for mimosas.
The hotel is in a perfect spot, central to everything and within easy walking distance of many attractions. The service is exceptional, with a wonderful and helpful staff taking great care of the guests and ensuring the rooms are spotless. The location is fantastic, with a metro station in front of the hotel and friendly staff willing to assist with anything you need. The dining experience is very reasonably priced and offers a delightful spread of Spanish buffet options. The facilities are top-notch and well-maintained, providing everything you need for a pleasant stay.
The hotel had its ups and downs. On one hand, the room, although lacking a view and with a separate toilet from the bathroom, was very comfortable with a great bathroom boasting an amazing shower and excellent storage space including extra pillows and blankets. The turn-down service with chocolates was a nice touch. On the other hand, I faced some service issues, as the staff were not very helpful, seeming a bit haughty and lax in attentiveness, especially after a long delay due to an airport strike. Despite this, the central location was a major plus, allowing easy access to key city attractions and transportation links, perfect for first-time visitors. Regarding dining, the food offerings had some highs and lows, from one of the worst experiences to a really nice breakfast with fresh produce and friendly staff. Overall, a mixed bag of experiences but still some positive highlights.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and had amazing amenities. The service was top-notch, with polite and welcoming staff. The location couldn't have been better, right on Gran Via and close to all the main attractions in Madrid. The dining experience was a bit of a letdown for me, but overall, the hotel offers great value for money.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were impeccably clean and had every conceivable requirement covered, offering an extremely elegant and comfortable experience. The service was top-notch, with incredibly kind and friendly staff always ready to assist. The location on the bustling shopping street Gran Via in a beautiful white turn of the century building was simply fantastic, offering a quiet retreat despite being in the heart of the bustling city center. The dining experience was excellent, presenting a wide variety of delectable options. Overall, a wonderful stay that I would highly recommend to anyone.
The hotel offers rooms that are as large as many double rooms, facing walls which might not be ideal, but are very comfortable with superior cosmetics and a multi-head shower. The service was top-notch, with helpful and kind staff providing excellent tips on local attractions. The location is exceptional, placing you right in the heart of Madrid's best attractions and transportation links, although it can be noisy due to the busy street. The dining experience was superb with healthy options available. Overall, a great value for a stay in the beautiful neighborhood of Malasaña.
I couldn't have asked for a better stay! The hotel is in an outstanding location right on Gran Via, with easy access to all the hotspots. The rooms were not only spotless but also spacious and beautifully designed. The service was top-notch, with staff who were not only polite and well-informed but also went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The dining options were decent, though I wished for a bit more variety. Overall, fantastic value for money!
The hotel offers spacious and well-appointed rooms, excellent service, and a prime location in the heart of Madrid.
